Prep For Swimsuit Season With Youtube

In this article I’m going to share three YouTube channels that can help in the struggle that is swimsuit season.  I am personally subscribed to these channels and recommend them wholeheartedly.  Keep in mind though, that you need to apply what you learn for this to work. I incorporate one or two of these videos to my current fitness routine, making sure to switch up the videos regularly. I also love to watch and write down the recipes provided by the channels, to keep my body not only well exercised, but well fed!  So turn up your work out playlist and join the fun. Let’s get healthy for summer.
Hosted by John Chapman and Leon Bustin, The Lean Machines have over 145,000 subscribers, and are based in the UK. Chapman and Bustin take a charming, entertaining and comical approach to exercise and diet.  Both are great at giving proper motivation without being demining to the viewer or coming across as meat heads. As professional fitness trainers their channel is diverse in content, ranging in videos for both men and women on exercise and dieting, plus a few hilarious vlogs. I especially like their videos on body types and how to eat for your body type. These videos are great for beginners and fitness enthusiasts alike!
You may have heard of them through other UK YouTubers as well. John is brother to Jim and Sam Chapman who have their own respective channels.
Blogilates is one of my favorite channels, not only because the content is amazing, but also because the host, Cassey Ho, is about the sweetest YouTuber on the planet. Cassey is a certified fitness instructor and creator of POP Pilates, which she is currently teaching at Equinox in West Los Angeles, CA.  Her channel combines Pilates and other exercises to give you the best results in the safest ways and has over 1,400,000 subscribers. She also keeps her the videos light and charming with great music, a bright smile and motivational pep talks. In addition to her many workout videos, Cassey also gives great advice on safe dieting and clean cooking. She also has a great blog, where she posts regularly, and is definitely worth checking out. See it here at
This channel is made up of dozens of UK YouTubers, who all contribute answers to questions about the human body, healthy eating, exercise and even your live life. Some notable contributors are the boys from Sorted Food, Sam and Nic from Pixwoo, and Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends.
I personally love the channel for its great and healthy food recipes, which are a part of its Feel Good Foods playlist. These recipes have saved me, on multiple occasions, from eating an entire bag of potato chips in one sitting and then regretting it for weeks to come. Try these recipes and see how awesome you’ll feel afterwards. I promise if you replace your meals with these healthy alternatives, you’ll begin to see the results you want.

I’m a nineteen year old, Southern Californian, professional designer and makeup artist, who is currently pursuing the finer things in life (art, food and travel). Here are some others things that are mildly interesting about me: I am trying to learn Italian and live up to my surname. I will eat almost anything. I have two closets, and I’m working on a third. I collect books and magazines (and apparently closets). So if you ever need someone to eat exotic food with or to translate an Italian magazine, I’m your girl.
