No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

Holy Nutella Heaven…. we have hit the gold pot! Nutella is a standard item in my pantry and this recipe spoke to me as soon as I saw it. Needless to say, I am already completely obsessed with this and, no bake?! AWESOME. I don’t have an oven at college so this recipe is right up my alley. My Baking Addiction shared this wonderful recipe and we just needed to share. Check out other recipes on their website!

Some of the other yummy recipes on their site include Coconut Lemon Squares that look amazing (who doesn’t love lemon and when you add coconut- it just makes it all the better), Raspberry Peach Marshmallow Squares that are an interesting take on what we usually think of when we think of marshmallow squares, and Key Lime Pie Bars that look like they are to die for!! I love Key Lime Pie and having bars of it looks so yummy! Check out her website because the list goes on and on. The recipes are all so great and this one is no exception! The website’s motto is “Modern. Delicious. Addictive” and it’s so true. These recipes really are all of those things which is why we love them so much.

Jamie, the wonderful chef who makes all these delicious and delectable treats is a middle school teacher but once the bell rings and she gets to go home, she enjoys cooking and creating wonderful desserts.

For the Crust

12 Oreo Cookies, crushed into crumbs
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup Nutella
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

For the Garnish

whipped topping, optional
chocolate shavings, optional
toasted, chopped hazelnuts, optional


1. In a medium bowl, stir together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Evenly divide the crumbs between your individual serving dishes and press into the bottoms of the dishes to form a crust layer.

2. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and Nutella until smooth. Add vanilla and mix to combine. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the whipped topping until well blended and no streaks remain.

3. Evenly pipe or spoon the filling into individual serving dishes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

4. If desired, garnish with additional whipped topping, chocolate shavings, and/or toasted, chopped hazelnuts.

( I have not tried this recipe using fresh whipped cream, so I cannot attest to the results.)
