CHARMAINE OLIVIA : Artist Spotlight

By  |  0 Comments

We stumbled upon the beautiful artist Charmaine Olivia and we think she is pretty freaking awesome. We think that everyone should have one of her prints hanging on their wall for everyone to see because the girl has got talent. You can see all of her beautiful pieces at her website and order from her at her online shop!

Charmaine says, “I’m an artist. I spend the majority of my days continually teaching myself how to paint and draw. I am extremely curious and passionate about life, beautiful things and creativity.  The best way to know me and my work is through my social networks: TumblrInstagramTwitter, & Facebook. My illustrations, photography and paintings have appeared in publications, museums, galleries and private collections throughout the world. Some of my clients and projects include Urban Outfitters, Lady Gaga, Hallmark, Volcom Stone, Element, Nylon Magazine, & Inked Girls Magazine.Collectable limited edition prints, posters, stickers and originals paintings can be found in the online store, which you can visit here.”

Charmaine says you can purchase her work either in her online shop, which we provided the link to above, or at the White Walls Gallery in San Francisco. Charmaine paints on wood panels and boards and primarily uses oil paints. However, she also dabbles with charcoal, pencils, and pastels! This talented woman has been practicing her skill since the time she was seven years old and amazingly, she never attended art school. She said she digs listening to chill electronic music like Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Zero 7. Overall, we are sort of obsessed with her and think she’s great.
